  3. Mind Matters Framework Mind Matter framework was used to develop the RaVE and Health and PE ProgramsTeam of four core staff from Primary and Secondary Campuses drove the process. Team met every fortnight Developing a Curriculum in Personal and Social Competence

  4. Online survey of all staff was conducted and analysed. Results are being used to do an audit of current practices and processes. A Q & A booklet is being produced to direct staff when unsure of where to go for help. Developing a Curriculum in Personal and Social Competence

  5. Scope and sequence of current 7 – 12 RaVE Program has been completed. Review of this program is has been completed. All staff were allocate a year group to work on the RaVE program and assessment tasks. Developing a Curriculum in Personal and Social Competence

  6. ACER Attitudes and Values Questionnaire Questions on compassion, service, conscience, emotional growth, social growth, commitment to God, commitment to Jesus. Conducted on all the Year 9 students The data showed that their weakness was social and emotional growth. Developed intervention programs Developing a Curriculum in Personal and Social Competence

  7. Year 7 Full day of group building activities. Facilitated by the year 11 students Developing a Curriculum in Personal and Social Competence

  8. Year 8 Girls Enlighten conducted a full day conference celebrating being yourself. Challenged common societal beliefs about body image and the sexualisation of girls. Developing a Curriculum in Personal and Social Competence

  9. Year 8 boys Attended a full day workshop with Peer Power discussing what it means to be a “Top Bloke”. Examined the pressures on boys. The all boy environment allowed them to be themselves. Developing a Curriculum in Personal and Social Competence

  10. Year 9 Students Full day retreat at St John’s cathedral. They were involved in a rotation of activities that challenged them to think about their spiritual journey. Developing a Curriculum in Personal and Social Competence

  11. Where to next? 2012 we implement the new RaVE program and assessment items in years 7-12. Continue to do the full day conferences in Years 7,8 and 9. There will be a focus of “Service” at the College in 2012. Developing a Curriculum in Personal and Social Competence
