  2. Calcutta is a joyous city of 14 million. The Howrah Bridge connects its people across a wide and mighty river.

  3. For Mahesh studying in an inner city school in this great city the bridge is what you would see in a picture book.

  4. But it is his bridge it is his city.

  5. And now Raj is going to know too.

  6. Using just a postcard and a box of crayons we are connecting Mahesh, Raj and hundreds of other children across India - two at a time

  7. Every postcard is a message of identity, hope and friendship from one child to another in a different city … Each exchange helping them share perspective and learn from each other in a powerful new way … Every exchange expertly designed to encourage thinking & expression and support classroom learning on important issues about the world around them …

We have completed a one year pilot with 662 children in 9 cities Our mission is to be present in all 29 states by 2014 Covering 100,000 children within the next 3 years Gangtok New Delhi Darjeeling Siliguri Calcutta Bhilai Mumbai Bangalore Chennai Building a unique platform of national integration and peer-to-peer learning for our children.
