  3. Profile of Hardware Team A) Name of Team: Hardware Group No. 23 B) Objectives of the Team: Manage Data Center & (All Computers, Network & its peripherals) of the Company. C) Our existence: Our existence because, Hardware Section plays an important role to bring new technologies in an organization which helps our company to get all computerized work. 2. Hardware Section plays an multiple role to manage secured Network for providing real time information to the Company. D) Responsibilities of the Team: Understand basic concept & structure of computer hardware & networking Identify the existing configuration of the computers and peripherals & Upgrading same as and when required Integrate the PCs into Local Area Network & re-install operating systems and various shipboard applications. Perform routine maintenance & upgrades Manage data backup & restore operations on server and update anti-virus software and set schedules  Installation of service packs, applications such as MS Office, MS Outlook, Anti-virus software etc. Trouble shooting of Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Servers, Windows 8 & MS Office Provide training to SFO’s about latest tools of Hardware and Networking. Installations of Managed Switch Networking & apply policies for smooth & fast network. Managed Internet Tools for providing limitied / priority wise bandwidth to the users. Managed MPLS VPN network for online working. Managed Servers & its interlink pheripherals for smooth operations. Managed Computer stock for upgradations of computer pheripherals. Managed the survillence devices & there planning for there upgradations.

  6. Point No.1:- (Prepared Incentive for Aug-Sep’12) Done by Mr. Deepak Kumar & Manvi SharmaWe have successfully prepared incentive for Aug-Sep’13 for eligble stations & Employee of Units. In this incentive we have used CRORES Team Marking & also we have freezed file permanent, so that in future Incentive will be released 1 days after getting Attendance & Updated Salary. We have have also calculated different sheets & Manual which user can read & make incentive.Total Amount released : Rs. 8,82,240/-Following main Criterias which we have used in Incentive.1. Salary upto Sep’122. Attendance Aug-Sep’123. Person getting less than 40 days is not elible.4. DOA is less than 1/3/12 is not eligible.5. SFO’s will get incentive NCO wise.6. Different Levels Criteria used in this incentive. Parameters: 1. Efficiency & 2. Benefits to the Company.

Point No.2:- (Financial Changeover – 31st Mar’13)Done by All Team MembersWe have successfully changeover of Financial & Ctrack in Branches & Units (D2D HQ, NCO, NRL, NIC, NFU, NED, BNGH & BNNI) on 30th & 31th Mar’13. Our team members are sitting after office hours & also come on Sunday to get successful changeover through remotely, on phone & through SFO’s. Snapshot how to changeover:- Parameters: 1. Efficiency & 2. Image of the Company.

  8. Point No.3:- (Filtering of IP’s in Firewall)Done by Mr. Deepak Kumar & Mr. Harvinder Pal We have successfully filter IP’s with MAC address in Firewall/Cyberoam. These new IP series used in our LAN zone which is rule inserted in firewall. New IP Series 192.168.100.1/255.255.255.0 is C Class Series which is specially used in LAN Zone we have replaced it with 192.168.3.1/255.255.255.0 series. We have filter all IP’s with there computer MAC address. Ping rate of NEW IP Series Parameters: 1. Efficiency & 2. Image of the Company.

  9. Point No.4:- (Solve the Issue of VPN & Internet)Done by Ms. Manvi Sharma, Mr. Deepak Kumar & Mr. Dushyant KohliWe have get problem resolved of VPN & Internet from Tulip Telecom Ltd. On dt.22/3/12 Tulip has stopped services of Internet & VPN due to non payment of issue. Immediately we have contacted Mr. Gagandeep Bhatti & Our Account Manager Mr. Gaurav Sahwney that they have disconnected our link without prior notice. As per agreement the payments was due after Quarter end. But they have disconnected the links without informing any officials. We have strongly pressurised to him & send a notice to Tulip Telecom to not stop internet & VPN without informing Nitco. Our Agreement will be expired on dt.30/6/13. Link working report of Tulip Support:- Parameters: 1. Efficiency 2. Avoid future problems.

Point No.5:- (Disposal of OLD Stock – New Intiative)Done by Mr. Dushyant Kohli & Opinder KrishenWe have dospose of OLD computer stock which is not working & not repairable & is dump in NIC & HOJ from last 1 years with the help of UGO. Total amount which we have recovered is Rs. 10,755. All those items which we can used have taken in our stock & used in HOJ, NIC & D2D. Parameters: 1. Efficiency 2. Profitibility Point No.6:- (Installation of Broadband in ChakDone by Mr. Dushyant Kohli We have successfully installed BSNL Broadband in Chak Bhalwal for view the Camera’s activity online in anywhere through static IP/Internet. Also they were facing problems to view reults of students & Emails. Because in that Areas only TATA photons & BSNL Internet working in that area. Now there were only one provision for us i.e BSNL. We submitted application in BSNL office to get broadband in Landline. Now MD Sir can view camera’s through internet from anywhere. Parameters: 1. Efficiency & 2. Image of the Company.

Point No.7:- (Upgradaations of View GR’s in Websites)Done by Mr. Nitin Sharma We have updated GR’s blog in Nitco Logistics Websites as advised by Mr. Kunil Bhalla & Mrs. Kalindi Bhalla & also we have made print option in this blog which earlier not available in the website. NEW GR’s OLD GR’s Parameters: 1. Efficiency & 2. Image of the Company.

  12. Point No.8:- (Installation of OLD Hard DiskDone by Mr. Opinder Krishan & Ankush HansWe have successfully Installed OLD Hard Disk in QSMT Computer which is not working from last 3 days. Our team member Mr. Opinder Krishan has taken intiative & installed Hard Disk in QSMT Computer & saved the cost Rs. 2100/-. From his effort we have benefits of Rs.2100/- to the company. Satisfaction Report of User Parameters: 1. Efficiency 2. Profitibility

Point No.9:- (Attended Workshop on Six Sigma in PHD for skill upgradations) Done by Ms. Manvi Sharma Ms. Manvi Sharma has attended One day workshop on Excel with Avneet, Kiran & Suneeta in Delhi on dt.22.3.13. It is very useful for skill upgradations on Six Sigma. They have guided how to implement this Technique & get company benefits. Parameters: 1. Efficiency 2. Image of the Company. Point No.10:- (Councelling of New Candidates on SKYPEDone by Mr. Mukesh Sharma & Mr. Opinder KrishanWe have successfully done councelling of New Candidates on SKYPE on dt.28/3/13. From this we have saved the cost of TA/DA & valuable time of the company. This exercise also reflects the image of the company. Following candidates are: 1. Mr. Hemant Kumar - 2AL 2. Mr. S.
