Coastal Angling Program (CAP) • Projects/Status • Enhance recreational catch and effort statistics • Increase dockside sampling • (catch, biological) • 5K more angler interviews • (6 additional agents) • Increase accuracy • More biological data • (lengths/weights) • b) Use CRFL data to enhance phone survey • Pilot project on-going with NOAA since 2008 • More efficient • Greater contact rate (70 percent)
