Advanced Radar System for Aerial Collision Prevention with Obstacles

This innovative radar system is designed to prevent aerial collisions between aircraft and obstacles like high-tension lines, wind turbines, and telecommunications masts. A strategically placed mast equipped with radar and data technology detects aircraft on a collision course. When an aircraft is detected approaching the obstacle, a powerful flashing light is activated when it is 30 seconds away. If the aircraft comes within 20 seconds of the obstacle, a VHF transmitter is triggered, sending an auditory warning signal to the pilot, enhancing flight safety efficiently.

  1. Radar to stop aerial collisions • Prevents planes and helicopters colliding with high-tension lines, wind-turbines, telecommunications masts, etc. • A mast fitted with radar and data equipment is installed near the obstacle • Aircraft on a collision course with the obstacle are registered • The system activates a powerful flashing light when an aircraft is 30 seconds away: if it approaches to within 20 seconds a VHF transmitter is activated and an auditory signal is dent to the pilot.
