Homework • Depending on whether you are in Honors, Academic, or Gifted the homework amount differs • Having Honors classes is more work and it’s harder • You have to spend more time on it then you would in Elementary School
Classes • You have the main Social Studies, Math, Science, Reading, and English everyday • Then there are Arts classes-, Art, Music, Careers, Computers, Family Consumer Sciences, and Tech Ed. • These are every other day, and the Arts classes rotate every 6 weeks • On B days there is Health and Gym, on A days there are Arts
R.A. • R.A.=Resource Activity • You can play an instrument, do clubs, or work on projects • There is also a School Store with anything you need there! • It is like a free period-but you will get in trouble for roaming the halls
Lockers • Your locker will get messy easily • Use locker organizers • Always be prepared to classes so you wont have to dig through your locker • Never “rig” your locker • There are specific locker clean out days
Schedule • Always be prepared for your classes in the first half of the day-(before lunch) • Then for the 2nd part of the day • You have 3 minutes in between classes
