  1. Fablehaven Summaries Chapters 1 - 4 (Completed on 9/15/2011) Kendra and Seth are sent to stay with their Grandma and Grandpa Sorenson. Grandpa orders the children to stay out of the woods. However, Seth disobeys him. While in the forest Seth meets a scary old lady in an ivy shack. He also discovers a hidden pond which he shares with Kendra. Grandpa punishes the children for breaking the rule and punishes them. Chapters 5 - 6 (Completed on 9/26/2011) Kendra opens the Journal of Secrets and reads the message “Drink the milk”. Seth and Kendra drink the milk and discover the fairies. Grandpa explains that he is the caretaker of Fablehaven. The children also meet a fairy broker named Maddox Fisk. Chapters 7-9 (Completed on 10/3/2011) Chapter 7: Seth and the fairy (one sentence) Chapter 8: Seth and the fairies, Muriel and Grandpa, Knots (3 sentences) Chapter 9: Hugo (one sentence)
