Flight Efficiency Plan -FEP CANSO, EUROCONTROL and IATA agreed a 5 Point Action Plan to respond to urgency of current crisis facing air transport industry; • Improvements will bring benefits • 470.000 Tons Fuel/year • 1.555.000 Tons CO2/year ~400M €/year • Plan aims to: • Tangible improvements to airspace design and management en-route & terminal areas; • Tangible improvements of airspace and airport utilisation

ICAO Major Events- European Coordination Common European visibility and Commitment towards ICAO • World-wide Symposium on Net Centric Information, Montreal 2-4 June 2008; • Establishment of AIS-AIM SG • SESAR/Nextgen Openforum, Montreal, 8-10 September 2008; • Informal Meeting of International Standard-Making Organisations, Montreal 10-11 September 2008; • CEANS Conference, Montreal 14-19 September 2008; • Performance paper • AIG Divisional Meeting, Montreal 13-18 October 2008 • Just culture paper

EANPG-COG Issues COG/41 Meeting in Norway, Bodo on 24-26 June 2008 • PBN Implementation TF established • Development of regional PBN Implementation plan; • Coordinate work • Present plan to EANPG/51 (2009) or earlier • Outstanding Proposals for Amendment e.g.: • A-SMGCS Levels 1&2; • Prolonged loss of communications; • STCA procedures; • Communication failure procedures in RVSM airspace
