  4. Island Space Requirements: ISLAND BOOTHS: Height: Island booths (20x20 or larger) have no height restrictions other than the limitations of the facility. Solid Walls: Solid walls along and near the perimeter of island booths must be finished in company branding or graphics, or signage to aid navigation on the exhibit floor. Graphics must cover a minimum of 50% of the wall on each side of the booth. Special Approvals: NACDS approval is required in the following circumstances: Two story/double-decker islands – island booths occupying more than one level. Overhead hanging signs or anything else hung from a booth or the exhibit hall ceiling. Covered areas under 300 square feet require a smoke detector and a 2A10BC fire extinguisher. This includes detached canopies. Double-deckers and covered areas over 300 square feet require a sprinkler system in addition to the smoke detector and fire extinguisher. THE DEADLINE FOR SPECIAL APPROVALS HAS PASSED, PLEASE SEND IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO. Email items to exhibits@nacds.org.
