Community & Service

This project at De Stek, a farmhouse and riding school, focused on working with animals and supporting individuals with physical challenges. I chose this project because it brings me joy to care for animals and help others. Challenges included managing horses, ensuring their safety, and maintaining a clean stable. Through this experience, I learned the importance of mutual support, responsibility, and the impact of helping hands in our community. These lessons are invaluable and applicable in my everyday life.

  2. Project Description • Community Work at “De Stek” • Farmhouse & a Riding school. • This project was mainly based on working with animals and physically challenged people.

  3. Choice of the Project • I enjoy taking care of animals and helping others. • It makes me happy.

  4. Challenges • Putting the bridle on the horse • Ensuring all the animals were brought back safely into their cages. • Picking up horse feces and making the stable clean everyday. • Appreciate and respect challenging life of people around us.

  5. Lessons Learnt • We depend on each other in our life. If we provide a helping hand then this world would be a better place for everyone. • Be responsible – Be on time, take care, take ownership.

  6. Implementation of the Learning • All that I learnt can be applied in my routine life.
