Some shapes can be folded in half to make both sides of the fold look the same. • These shapes are called symmetrical shapes. • The line that is left in the middle when you fold the shape is called the line of symmetry. • Not all shapes have a line of symmetry. Some shapes have more than one line of symmetry. • We are going to fold some shapes to find out if they are symmetrical.
