Appearance • The leopard seal has grey and white fur with spots. • Leopard seals are in the class: mammilla. • A male is called a bull. • A female is called a cow.
Food • Leopard seals eat penguins, krill, other seals, fish, and squid. • Leopard seals eat at night and in day.
Young • A baby leopard seal is called a pup. • Leopard seal babies are born around spring. • The baby seal feeds on her/his mother’s milk.
