Update on Portola Campus Demolition and Construction Plans

The Portola Campus demolition project is progressing with received bids, including a low bid of $2,148,000 from Evans Brothers. No DSA permit is required for the existing campus demo, with demolition expected to start in May 2012. The CCS received a DSA permit for relocating into portable buildings at Downer School, with construction bids anticipated by mid-May and completion projected for August 2012. The main building permit for Portola at Castro was received on February 28, 2012, and a Green Roof addendum is under review.
