  3. Updates: Application Process • Application Process • Filled Out Completely • Goal to have sent in by Wednesday this week • Process will take ~ 3 weeks to be recognized • Contact with Regional Student Advisor: ShikhankSharma

  4. Update: Web-site • Web-site • Designed and “almost” ready to go live • Will feature: • Blog, videos, contact information, updates, downloads of our content, photos, and more. • Hope is to use this as a way of bringing in new members • Communication

  5. Advertising Goals • Table at UO Bookstore: Feb. 11 9am-4pm • Sign-ups • Materials (informational only) • Ideas for Poster Creation (for all you art folks!) • Web-site • Spread the word • Posters around campus

  6. Advertising Goals • Movie Nights • Film nights sponsored by us • Guest Speakers: Professors and possible Skype chats • Classroom visits • Other ideas?

Volunteer Registration • Good idea to become a registered volunteer • Keeps you up to date with resources for volunteers and lots of information provided by UNICEF • Also, we encourage that if any of you have an issue that is important to you that deals with UNICEF’s work, we can bring it up at a meeting and perhaps create a project (either awareness or fundraising) for it! • Very simple • Here’s how:

UNICEFUSA.ORG • This is UNICEF’s website (for those who didn’t know). • We encourage you to browse the website; there you will find many interesting resources dealing with UNICEF’s affairs in international issues, a blog, a news feed, videos/pictures, fact sheets, campaigns, how to donate, etc.
