  2. What is Motivational Leadership? • Two components • One part is being an elite performer of the task at hand • The second half is attempting to motivate the team or group to perform on the same level as the leader. • Most motivational leaders can be found in athletics or education

  3. Examples? Some examples of motivational leaders are: • Ray Lewis • Dwight Howard • Keith Brooking • Brian Dawkins • Barack Obama

  4. How was I like that? • Performances with the class • Leading songs • Enthusiasm

  5. Why use Motivational Leadership? • Not having true authority does not allow me to be a true commanding leader • Therefore, I could not power trip like I would have loved to • Making the class better was my next best option. • Motivational leadership reaches out to younger people the best • They see someone perform well, and they want to emulate that persons talent • They also appreciate enthusiasm
