  5. Role of a Young Leader • The role of the Young Leader is to: • Plan, run and evaluate activities • Take part in programme planning • Help with record keeping • Help run sectional forums • Undertake training • With support, everything that an adult leader does! 3

  6. The Modules • Module A – Prepare for take off! • Compulsory for all Young Leaders • Covers key areas such as: • - The Scout Association’s purpose and method • - Child protection • - Orange Card • - Policy, Organisation and Rules • - True/False scenarios 4
