  2. ★★★★ • KSAT-12 deserves 4 stars as an internship site for the following reasons: • It offers a great one on one interaction with everyone in the sports department. • As an intern you are quickly thrown into the mix an asked to help with things. • They allow you to go to many important sports games to log them and take in pre game and post game player interviews. • The only reason I didn’t give KSAT-12 5 stars was the fact that there is a lot of down time if there’s nothing going on in the sports world. Many days, you sit at the office waiting for something sports related to make the news.

Internship Objectives • Monitored associated press wire • Assisted news producers by gathering accurate information on stories • Assisted editors, photographers, and reporters • Helped set up and take down camera equipment in the field • Logged San Antonio Spurs games • Gathered player interviews out in the field • Learned how to edit using Avid editing software

  4. On the JOB at the AT&T Center GETTING READY TO LOG THE SPURS GAME SITTING IN THE MEDIA SECTION HALFTIME IN THE AT&T CENTER FEED ROOM POSING WITH THE PHOTOGRAPHERS (Marcus & Mark)

  5. Daily Activities • Help pull down sport related stories from CNN or ABC • Log some sort of game • Work on learning how to edit • Ride with a photographer to cover some sort of story

  6. Project Description My project was a news story(package) over Will Ferrell and his movie Semi Pro. • I had to interview Will Ferrell • Shoot a stand up at the AT&T Center • Write the script for my package • Voice my package • An edit and put together my final project EDITING MY PACKAGE
