Enhancing Student Government Communication: Engaging Students Effectively
Our initiative addresses the communication gap between student government and students who are unaware of its benefits and services. Through a focused marketing approach, including promoting student resources like NightRide and BookSwap, we aim to engage students early, especially freshmen. By streamlining information on our website and creating attractive promotional campaigns, we ensure students recognize the value of student government. This awareness campaign will foster engagement, connect students with their interests, and enhance participation in campus events.

Streamlining • Redundancy • No need to have the same links on both the top and side of the website. • Simplify Organization Chart • Give a general outline to let students know where power goes.
Streamlining • Division of Events • Clearly separate one event from the other through uniform headlines. • Facebook/Twitter Link • Give a quick link to tweet or share the event with one click.
Streamlining • Feedback • Reduce hassle by giving a comment box on blackboard. Just type your question and send it. • Hierarchy • Give more important events more page space rather than a jumbled news feed.
Communication Improvement • Following the outlined procedures we believe communication would improve • Students would begin to see the benefits of student government has • Associate the benefits with the marketing
