  12. What We Focused On

  13. Streamlining • Redundancy • No need to have the same links on both the top and side of the website. • Simplify Organization Chart • Give a general outline to let students know where power goes.

  14. Streamlining • Division of Events • Clearly separate one event from the other through uniform headlines. • Facebook/Twitter Link • Give a quick link to tweet or share the event with one click.

  15. Streamlining • Feedback • Reduce hassle by giving a comment box on blackboard. Just type your question and send it. • Hierarchy • Give more important events more page space rather than a jumbled news feed.

  16. Revisiting A Solution

  17. Communication Improvement • Following the outlined procedures we believe communication would improve • Students would begin to see the benefits of student government has • Associate the benefits with the marketing

  18. The Final Result By educating the student body through an awareness campaign and by streamlining the process of communication, our student learns the benefits of student government and engages with them in a successful way now.

  19. Prototyping the Solution • Tested out with the Comm 2 LC • Didn’t know about student government—they were part of the original survey • Liked the ideas and expressed interest in seeing these implemented across campus
