  1. Enrolling in an Office of Fire Fighter Training Course Bureau of Fire Services/Information Management System

  2. NEW MANDATORY COURSE ENROLLMENT One of the major changes with the new IMS system centers on the Course Enrollment form. It is now required for a student planning on taking ANY OFFT course to register prior to attending it. Registering for a class will allow the Course Manager to know how many students to plan for. Additionally, this form will ensure that the individual is a member of a fire department and meets OFFT policies for training qualifications. Before a person can enroll in a course the fire chief must have first added them to the fire department roster following the steps previously outlined. Entering the firefighter into our database will ensure that the person will be in the system when the look-up search is performed for enrollment purposes.

  3. Displayed is the bottom half of the Course Enrollment form After you have filled out the top half of this form you must click on “I Accept” if you are in agreement with the items outlined here. This form can be filled out by the individual or the fire chief.

  4. After clicking on the “I ACCEPT” button from the previous screen you will see this selection. The following enrollment form can be filled out by the individual or his/her fire chief.

  5. To enroll the student you must first find them in our database. This screen requests the name of the person being enrolled. Click on the icon to the right of the “Last Name” box to select the person who you are enrolling. If they do not appear in the look up table this means that they haven’t been entered into the system by their chief. Notify the chief that the firefighter must be entered into the system before the student can enroll in the course.
