I Am Poem I Am • I am musical and fun I wonder if I will get into Yale I hear kids laughing and playing I see myself as a princess I want a pink pony I am musical and fun I pretend that I'm on the Titanic I feel hatred I touch the Titanic I worry that my sisters will kick me in my sleep I cry when people die I am musical and funI understand life I say happiness should be for everybodyI dream about friends and family I try to be a nice person I hope to have kids someday I am musical and fun

  4. COLOR POETRY Pink looks like tulips, Red feels like blood, Blue sounds like “the blues” Purple smells like grapes, Orange tastes like oranges

  5. ABC POETRY A little boy was mad and started to crywhen his mom DENIED HIM FROM GOING TO A FRIEND’S PARTY EVEN THOUGH EVERYBODY WAS GOING FOREVER, HE WILL BE MAD AT HER!

  6. A PARODY POEM Itsy Bitsy spider swimming in the pool Down came the beach ball and knocking the spider out Out came the children to grab the ball Now the itsy bitsy spider went back swimming again!!

  7. A LIMERICK There once was a girl from Mars She hoped to have a car But she became too fat And called the cat in the hat That chubby girl from Mars

  8. PATCHWORKPOETRY There once was a frog That was friends with a dog They yelled at a hog That kicked a log There once was a cat That was friends with a bat They yelled at a hat That was on a dirty rat By Julia Jenna

  9. Monster Poem There’s a monster in my shoe I saw his dirty hats They glow in the dark And scare all the cats The monster has sharp fangs He is very fat He has a big belly That jiggled when he sat There’s a monster under my pillow He has big feet It has hairy toes It makes it hard to sleep!
