  2. Now • Register for the June SAT and or ACT • Start compiling your academic resume • Visit colleges and college fairs

  3. This Summer • Visit college campuses • Work • Volunteer • SAT/ACT Prep

  4. September/October • Continue to visit colleges • Attend college fairs • Take SAT/ACT again • Narrow list of potential colleges to four to six • Ask for letters of recommendation • Apply for scholarships

  5. November/December • Complete college applications • Keep your grades up • Continue applying for scholarships

  6. January/February • Complete the FAFSA (Financial Aid Application) • Complete the CSS Profile (if necessary) • Follow up on all college applications • Keep applying for scholarships

  7. March/April • Wait for acceptance letters • Wait for financial aid awards • Contact schools that have put you on the waitlist • DON’T wait to apply for scholarships • Make school deposit by May 1st
