    14. Manufacturing Dashboards Dashboard: a reporting tool that presents manufacturing key indicators on a single screen, which includes measurements, metrics, and scorecards. SAP MII comes with a Portal Framework, which provides a lightweight environment for managing users, roles and content. Based on role, the user is presented with a dashboard theme (colors, fonts, logos, etc.) and content that is cataloged on a navigation tree on the left side of the page. Clicking on the navigation titles brings that content forward inside the main window, in a pop up or on a new web page, depending on how the view is configured. ----------------------------- Dashboards shows KPIs with: Actual value with acceptable range interval analysis and comparison with the target value Historic values information Trend projection to the future if the current trend continues what happens with our target? When a controlled indicator deviates, the next question is WHY? Neoris developed several projects in MII to help in the root cause analyses at several levels. 15. User Interface Simplification Production orders, bills of materials, material details, etc. Simplified user interfaces that allow plant floor workers to consume enterprise data (such as production orders, bills of materials, and material details) in the context of their local work processes. In the same screen you can have the necessary data to analyze a production process AND the fields necessary to enter data in order to operate it the user DONT need to go to a ERP screen. Only one work and HMI (Human Machine Interface) environment. Any business rules and decision support intelligent algorithms, could be associated to the transactions done in this environment.Simplified user interfaces that allow plant floor workers to consume enterprise data (such as production orders, bills of materials, and material details) in the context of their local work processes. ----------------------- MII is also used to make transactional applications to capture shop floor data and for process handling. 17. Integration with Shop-Floor Equipment Scales, Barcode Reader, Printers, etc. MII allows the integration with a lot of kind of shop floor equipments. MII can deal with Scales, Bar Code/RFID Readers, Wireless Devices, Manufacturing Printers, and any kind of industrial device capable to communicate. 18. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) OEE is a hierarchy of metrics which focus on how effectively a manufacturing operation is utilized. Takes into account availability, performance and quality. MII allows the OEE calculation. OEE is a hierarchy of metrics which focus on how effectively a manufacturing operation is utilized. 19. Operational Excellence: Real-time Asset Information Real-time information from the shop floor equipment available on SAP MII Portal. Real-time information from the shop floor equipment available on SAP MII Portal: In the top screen the PEMEX engineers configure Process Variables from the Historian to see in real time the current value, historic values and alarm set logic. They also navigate across the plant several levels. (MII to OSI PI Connection) In the right screen, based in a SCADA synoptic screen picture, the engineers configure it just dragging and drop objects to show process Tags values. (MII to Historians connection) In the left bottom screen, the status of each equipment in a bottling line is showed in real time, based in the information supplied by process Tags. (MII to SCADA Connection) These kind of applications can be create in few weeks, using the tools developed by NEORIS MII team.Real-time information from the shop floor equipment available on SAP MII Portal: In the top screen the PEMEX engineers configure Process Variables from the Historian to see in real time the current value, historic values and alarm set logic. 20. Quality Monitoring SPC data analysis takes advantage of the SAP MII Business Logic Services and associated Data Connectors. SAP MII gathers data from existing data sources and streams the resulting query into an SPC calculation engine. The top screen shows product quality KPIs from several sources (mainly process and labs) and its historic value against a target value. The bottom screen show a console created to show quality data to a process operator. Lab data and SPC/SQC MII engine calculations showed in easy visualization graphics and table. The top screen shows product quality KPIs from several sources (mainly process and labs) and its historic value against a target value. 21. Integration with Robots In some scenarios it is possible to exchange messages with robots on the shop-floor (compatible protocols are required). These shop floor integration include ROBOTS and other kind of intelligent devices. This capability creates great flexibility for the business. In this example = Paper Production Process: Each paper roll receives a finishing preparation, wrapping and paper label positioning and contends, according customer special specifications. MII gets the information available in the customer order, directly from the SAP ERP and send the correct instructions to the robot, wrapping machine and label printer. These shop floor integration include ROBOTS and other kind of intelligent devices. 22. Mobile Applications iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Cell Phones with Windows Mobile, etc. Based in the native capabilities of MII, NEORIS also developed a set of tools that allows the final user to develop simple applications, accessing several data sources that is named Watch Portal. 23. Video Wall Supply Chain Visibility Provide an integrated view of information from the various processes and put together all the involved employees in a single room. NEORIS MII Videowall concept includes three applications in one set: The large screen The client desktop screen with capability to publish information on the large screen The mobile application Other important feature is the intelligent connection with cameras that shows, in the large screen, the cameras connected with alarms auctioned by the application. Each object in the screen has associated drill down available information that allows the analysis of the object status at any moment. The capability to manage all the supply chain related information and operational parties in the same room, sharing the exact same information, with capability to do immediate actions over the process and see the consequences improved the On time customer order fulfillment and deliver index in just four months of operations. Not talking about other several KPIs like in process inventory.NEORIS MII Videowall concept includes three applications in one set: The large screen The client desktop screen with capability to publish information on the large screen The mobile application Other important feature is the intelligent connection with cameras that shows, in the large screen, the cameras connected with alarms auctioned by the application. 40. Watch Portal by Neoris What The Watch Portal is a set of tools targeting the MII end user. The intend is to freedom the user to access any kind of information available to him, without need to involve IT people to allow it. Targeted also to the mobile user, the user interface is the same in the desktop or in the hand held platform. Any configuration done in one is available on the other. Configurations variables per user and general set up information are stored in the MII NetWeaver DB.
