  8. Starting a garden on DPR land • Identify who owns the land: maps.dcoz.dc.gov • Submit application • Site Approval • Garnering Community Support • Review Board • Cooperative Agreement • Design • Build

Community Gardening Specialist! • Develop a cohesive program across DPRs various gardening endeavors • Finalize the application and application process • Help gardens maintain their management structure • Develop city wide waiting list • Develop standardized DPR garden operations and policy • Provide technical assistance • Help gardens navigate various DPR processes
