HISTORY/ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF GRENADA 1st “Kidzeum” located at Grenada Elementary School (Newsweek #1 Rural school in MS) Grenada Middle School proudly displays the nationally acclaimed “Walls That Teach” mural that represents the history of civilization, ancient Egypt, China, and the Roman Republic During the Civil Rights Movement Dr. King kept headquarters in the basement of Vincent United Methodist Church Army National Guard Camp McCain served as a POW camp during WWII

I present an image that represents dependability because the products my customers need are always available. When consumers enter the store they are able to buy produce at a reasonable price, but of good quality.” Derrick Lawson

Assistant principal: able to see the full spectrum of ideas able to see the parents standpoint, as well as teachers, and students Has to decide whether the issue is relevant to the problem at hand. “I enjoy my job and I try to listen to the ideas of my staff and colleagues to decide what further action is needed.” Dawn Walls
  25. What advice would you give first time leaders? Listen to others to find out what works and what doesn’t You will figure out the true character of others around you if you listen Don’t talk a lot Tell others what you want done; not solely how you want it done

  32. What advice would you first time leaders? Don’t worry about what you can’t do; worry about what you can do Don’t let your gender effect your job Never get too high-minded or prideful Ask questions if you are uncertain Never be afraid to try

Conclusive Findings Leaders must value their work and followers Leaders must set high expectations Leaders must listen to others in order to be successful Leaders do not have to say “I’m the leader” as long as they are truly leading Every great leader must first be a follower Leaders come in all shapes, forms, and sizes
