Bliink Competition: Create Your Website by March 1, 2011!

Join the Bliink Competition by creating a website that embodies the theme 'Imagine a future made better by technology'. This graded assignment is also an entry into a contest. All students must submit a website by March 1, 2011. Register by February 28 at www.bliinkcontest.com. Work in groups to explore solutions for local, regional, or global challenges. Your project will be graded based on creativity, communication, organization, and visual presentation. Make sure to use appropriate media and avoid broken links.

  2. What’s Due? • A website created in Expressions. • Everyone must turn in a website! This is a graded assignment plus a contest entry. • I have six groups! • Did everyone register? You have until February 28th to register. Go to www.bliinkcontest.com

Grading Criteria • Creativity/Original Idea – 25 points • Communication – 20 points • Organization/Navigation – 20 points • Visual Presentation/Design – 35 points Points Deducted: • Lose 10 points for each broken link • Lose 15 points for each image or piece of media that violates copywright law or is inappropriately cited.

  6. Practice Web Site • I will put the file on www.prosseracademy.org • You will be working!on Car Website! • This is a good example to use for your website. • When finished with this example call me for credit.
