History • Hades always liked the dark better than the light that’s why he chose the Underworld • He kidnapped Persephone to be his wife • Inside Cronos, Hades punched his liver • Hades has always despised the sun • Hades was the one who actually brought Cronos to his knees by slashing at his neck with his invisibility helmet • Hades chose the underworld over the other relems

  5. Personality • Hades is very greedy • He is not evil so much as lonely • He is mostly concerned about expanding dead souls • Also very depressed because his only company are the dead and his wife

Fun facts about Underworld • There are five fivers in the Underworld: Styx, the river of hate, Phlegethon, the river of fire, Cucytus, the river of lamentation, Acheron, the river of woe, and Lethe, river of forgetfulness • There is a part of the Underworld that nice souls went called Elysian • Evil souls went to Tarterus

  7. What Greeks did to honor Hades • Greeks poured blood in pits or ditches that they dug so that the blood would seep into the ground • People put gold drachmas into the mouths of the dead to pay Chiron
