Innovative Solutions for Elderly Wellbeing: A Cross-Disciplinary Approach

The MindTheGap project aims to enhance health and wellbeing for the elderly through innovative materials and interior design. By merging skills from ICT, welfare tech, medtech, and sustainable design, we develop intelligent solutions such as integrated lighting systems, composite furniture with support functionalities, and climate-regulating textiles. Our goal is to facilitate collaboration across sectors, creating new job opportunities and products that cater to the elderly. Planned activities include pilot projects with SMEs, participation in international matchmaking missions, and annual development of new product solutions.
