Electronic BiddingGeneral Information • Subscription service, the vendor is Bid Express (BidX) • Began in July 2007 • 28 Contractors currently using electronic bidding • 2008 Projects - 23% of bids received were electronic bids • On these same projects electronic bidders were the low responsive bidder 28% of the time • Detailed “Getting Started” info sheet available on our website • Links to our website and BidX are at the end of this presentation
