4. The Potomac Conference, TA, SAS and JNA have partnered with the Commonweal Foundation to create a school cluster to better serve the community in which the schools are located.

5. The strategy is to . . . • Create sustainability • Create a capacity building • Serve the underprivileged students in the Takoma Park/Langley Park area

6. For every $1 that the church, school and SAS alumni invest in a worthy student fund, the Commonweal Foundation will give $3.

7. The Fundraising campaign is dubbed: Project “TOP GRADE” • Project TakOmaPark: Guaranteeing Revitalized Adventist Education • Raise $350,000 to place in a Worthy Student fund held by Commonweal • Target goal: May 31, 2012

8. Facility upgrade and repairs $1,050,000 • HVAC System • Fire Alarm system • Windows • Blinds • Some Doors • Some roof work

9. In addition, Commonweal is also providing: • Professional Development • A reading specialist • A grant for a math specialist / coach • A grant for maintenance person/s • Student Aid for 2011-2012 • A grant for online, individual math tutoring

10. INVESTMENT OF CHURCH / SCHOOL FAMILIES . . . • We collectively invest $1 in our child/ren’s Adventist Education and we will receive a $3 monetary return in addition to growing passionate disciples for JESUS.
