  1. Limits of Perception Sacramento Alchemy Guild Meeting Understanding the limits to our perception And evidence of limits being arbitrary Exploring research in to the scientific validity of the collective unconsciousness

  2. Understanding the Limits • Sensory organs gather data, and from the data our picture of reality is created in our mind. • As we mature external and internal influences affect this process. • In addition our minds become programmed as we grow with behavior patterns, belief systems, that become both conscious and subconscious. • As we mature a side of the brain becomes more dominant and this thinking side of the brain tends to take over the picture of reality in our mind. So, is this all there is?

  3. Program’s in the conscious mind • We learn to form patterns in our minds and conditions and behaviors as we socialize. These are socially conditioned to allow us to cope in the clan or tribal social group. • Experience reinforces these emotional beliefs that we accept as facts. We learn to judge good and bad behavior, we learn to fear what is bad or hurtful • We become so involved in the logical conscious process we come to believe it is complete reality. Not only defining ourselves, position of society, we set limits. Johnny , You are not doing that right! Or Very creative. How we see ourselves gets programmed into our mind.

  4. Examining the Limits • As we grow our social and physical behavior forms via feedback mechanisms. We learn to walk and run, by systematically training groups of muscles to work together resisting gravity. We see others walk and we learn to walk. Similarly, we learn to speak the language of the group be it English, Chinese, Spanish etc. These basic behaviors become like subroutine programs that we do without thinking. • When it comes to psychic or paranormal abilities not only is it often shunned, but the entire feedback mechanism to learn is lacking. Perhaps in ancient times it did exist. • Let’s look at some data the Mainstream Science does not like to talk about. We can focus on Possibilities or only limitations.

  5. Examining the Limits • So our ideas of who we are, how attractive we are, our social class, right and wrong, fear, judgments, language, emotional responses, reading, driving, and repeated activities or behaviors are programs conditioned and reinforced by both social and physical mental assessments. • These conditions are not reality or truth. As Plato points out, “Reflections on a cave wall” All that we see and know is a reflection of what is and that perception is filtered by our thinking minds. It is my belief the bulk of the additional information is stored in our subconscious mind.

  6. Evidence of a greater connection • Helmut Schmidt : Quantum Processes Predicted? Experiments demonstrated that thoughts have affections on matter, and precognition is more common that we think, relating it to Flight or fight instinctual responses to stimuli. • His body of research can leave little doubt that we are more that perceptions tell us. Helmut Schmidt is a German-born parapsychologist. In the early 1970s he pioneered research into the effects of human consciousness on machines called random number generatorsor random event generators[1] at the Rhine Research Center Institute for Parapsychology. He was appointed Research Director of the Institute in 1969.[2] Schmidt's early psycho kinesisexperiments involved machines with one red and one green light. Subjects would attempt to make one light illuminate more than another. Schmidt has reported success rates of 1–2% above what would be expected at random over a large number of trials. A metastudy that reviewed more than 800 such studies from 68 laboratories came to the conclusion that "under certain circumstances, consciousness can interact with random physical systems."

  7. Plant Perception of environment Cleve Backster(born 1924)[1] is a best known for his experiments with iocommunication in plant and animal cells using a polygraph machine in the 1960s which led to his theory of "primary perception." He is currently director of the Backster School of Lie Detection in San Diego, California. Backster began his career as an Interrogation Specialist with the CIA, and went on to become Chairman of the Research and Instrument Committee of the Academy for Scientific Interrogation. • Plants Perceive? Cleve Backster did early experimentation with plants. • Marcel Vogel continued the experiments and is responsible for now only plant but patents using crystal resonance. Strange as it might seem the experiments indicated that plants not only have conscious awareness of their surroundings, and memory but actually an extrasensory ability to anticipate and read the advance reactions of human subjects.

  8. Marcel Vogel another Believer? • Marcel Joseph Vogel (1917–1991) was a research scientist working at the IBMSan JoseAdvanced Systems Development Division Los Gatos Lab (actually located in San Jose) for some 27 years. He is sometimes referred to as Dr. Vogel, this title was an honorary doctoral degree, Ph.D.. • It is claimed that Vogel started his research into luminescence while he was still in his teens. This research eventually led him to publish his thesis, Luminescence in Liquids and Solids and Their Practical Application, in collaboration with Chicago University's Dr. Peter Pringsheim in 1943. • Two years after the publication, Vogel incorporated his own company, Vogel Luminescence, in San Francisco. For the next decade the firm developed a variety of new products: fluorescentcrayons, tags for insecticides, a black light inspection kit to determine the secret trackways of rodents in cellars from their urine and the psychedelic colors popular in "new age" posters. In 1957, Vogel Luminescence was sold to Ultra Violet Products and Vogel joined IBM as a full-time research scientist. • He received numerous patents[citation needed] for his inventions. Among these was the magnetic coating for the 24” hard disk drive systems still in use. His areas of expertise, besides luminescence, were phosphor technology, magnetics and liquid crystal systems. • He also designed the vogel crystal, which allegedly focuses "universal life force" by concentrating it to a higher level. Vogel crystals are cut to the exact angle of 51 degrees 51 minutes and 51 seconds, the exact angle of the Great Pyramid of Giza. The crystal is designed after the geometry of the Tree of Life symbol. Its design is said to have come to him in a dream (See pyramid power). • Vogel examined a metal sample which was allegedly given to Billy Meier by extraterrestrials and marveled at its unusual properties (Vogel stated it contained the element thulium)[citation needed]; however, it is worthwhile to note that Vogel was a chemist rather than a metallurgist. • Vogel was featured in the first episode of In Search Of hosted by Leonard Nimoy, called "Other Voices". He gave his theories regarding the possibility of communication between plants.[1]

  9. Consciousness Experiments Ongoing. • Global Consciousness experiments at Princeton Univ. • Random Sequence generators (eggs) leaking diodes. • Located around the world. • Data Collected at Princeton University • Art Bell and Coast to Coast experiment

  10. Word and Sound has affect • Masaru Emoto (江本 勝, Emoto Masaru”, born July 22, 1943) is a Japanese author and entrepreneur known for his claims that human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water. Emoto’s hypothesis has evolved over the years of his research. • Initially Dr. Emoto claimed that high-quality water forms beautiful and intricate crystals, while low-quality water has difficulty forming crystals. • According to Dr. Emoto, an ice crystal of distilled water exhibits a basic hexagonal structure with no intricate branching. Emoto claims that positive changes to water crystals can be achieved through prayer, music or by attaching written words to a container of water. • Since 1999 Emoto has published several volumes of a work titled Messages from Water, which contains photographs of water crystals next to essays and "words of intent." • In addition to his books, Emoto also sells various water products from his websites and catalogs, which are purported to have healing properties derived from his research and experiments. • Words associated with water then freezing created different forms of crystal. Love and appreciation

  11. How can we change our programs? • Meditation: Sages from India have been tested in laboratories and show great control of these abilities. • Pranic Healing techniques have been laboratory test http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbuvnZ-qIUs • Pendulums have been used as a tool to communicate between the conscious, subconscious, and super conscious. www.lettertorobin.org/companion/html/StudentGuide.html • This document allows you to write a program or use a written program to recondition your subconscious behavior and over come toxic behavior programs.

  12. Conclusion • Through out history the Alchemists have always pushed beyond accepted beliefs to find can be learned and known. • Our perception of reality is a conditioned system of programmed thoughts. • We are a part of everything around us, interconnected we act as a unit, whether we are aware of his fact or not. We all manifest changes to our environment. • We are all psychic and cause interactions with our surroundings on many levels, likewise we are also receiving much more data than we are conditioned to assimilate into or perception of reality. • We all have these abilities we only need to awaken our dormant skills. The beginning is when we understand it is possible.
