  2. Introduction The 4th grade Social Studies curriculum focuses around Texas History. Some of the most influential people who lived on Texas land are the Native Americans. There were several tribes who settled in various parts of Texas. Each tribe is different. The 4th graders will research a given tribe, answer important questions about their tribes lifestyle, and then present it to the rest of their peers through a power point presentation. We will learn a lot about the people who have helped shaped Texas to what it has now become.

  3. Task • In groups of 4, select and research a Native American Indian tribe with ties to Texas. • Use the links on the Resources page for your research. • Create a 10-15 slide PowerPoint presentation that answers the 10 research questions (found on the next page), includes a Title Page and Works Cited.

  4. Research Questions 1. Where did they live? 2. Did they stay in one place or move around? 3. What type of house did they live in? 4. Did they live in villages? Multiple family homes? Tribes? 5.
