    What does this mean to you? DDMS now has a modern database structure Development becomes quicker because we are not working within the restraints of TBL We no longer rely on FoxPro or codebase (TBL) drivers Stability Less moving parts due to mixture of modern technology No longer have 3 database drivers (SQL, FoxPro, Codebase) Performance

    How DDMSPlus was created First we decided what was needed in the application Considered duplication of functionality Admin Tools All the TBL code was converted to run in a C# environment TBL Server was eliminated and now runs as a service in a .NET environment

    What is different? There is no longer a TBL Server. All of its duties are handled by services on the server We chose not to convert some duplicate functionality. For example: Text based (A) Customer screen Text based General Ledger The (Z) screen is greatly reduced New functionality was created to replace New Administration Tool (TBL Configuration)

    What is different? The FoxPro files are integrated into a single SQL database Each file becomes a table within that SQL database The folder that the file was associated with (SR, W2, etc.) becomes a prefix to that table name

    What is the same? Users will see very little change. You log into DDMS in the same manner as you do today The current DDMS SQL database will still exist The new SQL database and the current SQL database will be synched

    Where are we today? All of the application code as been converted to DDMSPlus Completed integration to ECinteractive Quality Assurance is testing for Functionality Performance

    Where are we today? We are now working on administration tools Data Integrity Access to copy and viewing of data O/PUS Procs Installs Third Party Connectivity Credit card process

    DDMSPlus Release Plan Subject to change. Features will not wait for the end of the phase but instead will be available as soon as they pass quality control.
