Juventa High School: A Legacy of Musical Excellence since 1971

Established in 1971 and renovated in 2001, Juventa High School has become a renowned institution in Lithuania, emphasizing comprehensive musical education. With a student body of 864 pupils aged 7 to 14, the school fosters artistic expression through a diverse curriculum that includes mathematics, languages, sciences, and the arts. Over 290 students play individual instruments, while 647 engage in music and art activities.   1. Our school was built in 1971

  2. School’s renovation in 2001

  3. School doors opened in 1971 in its first generation. In 1999/2000 school year, pupils and teachers chose her a new name, and it was called „Juventa“ High School. Our school always was famous of it‘s music. The idea - to develop a comprehensive musical education in a harmonious personality, to be a model in Lithuania and abroad. By the end of the 8th decade the school was experimental. Music teachers classroom activities and artistic expression was always in the city republic, foreign scientists, academics-methodist, music teachers and other practitioners interested visitors attention.

  4. Pupils: from 7 to 14 years. 864 pupils

  5. Subjects: Maths, Languages (Lithuanian, English, German, Russian, French), Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Physical training, Music, Art, Technologies, Ethics, Computer science.

  6. Musical education. 291 pupils play with individual instruments. They are a piano, a violin, an accordion, a guitar,a saxophone, a flute and a keyboard. 647 pupils take place in music art activities

  7. Teachers. There are 96 teachers.The middle age is 36 years
