  15. A lobbying group founded by Reverend Jerry Falwell to give evangelical Christians a stronger political voice

  16. National Rifle Association

  17. Was begun to promote rifle shooting and marksmanship skills; endorsed Ronald Reagan in the 1980 election, marking the first time in its history the group supported a Presidential candidate

  18. Camp David Accords

  19. President Carter arranged an agreement between the Prime Minister Begin (Israel) and President Sadat (Egypt); Israel agreed to return the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt, which Israel had taken in the Six-Day War in 1967, while Egypt offered a peace treaty.

  21. During the Lebanese Civil War 800 U.S. Marines lands in Beirut to oversee the Palestinian withdrawal from Lebanon. It was the beginning of a problem-plagued mission that would stretch into 17 months and leave 241 Marines dead.

  25. Officials in the Reagan Administration acted against the policy of refusing to negotiate with terrorists by secretly selling arms to Iran as part of a deal in exchange for the release of American hostages in Lebanon.
