  26. Current Status • Schools are driving disaster preparedness planning • Conducting research and translating information • Developing response plans • Contacting Agencies and Responders • Working together • Conducting Drills

  27. Status • Schools are very concerned about the safety of students and staff • Answers are not coming from the state • Parents expect schools to provide for the safety of their children • Schools can’t wait to develop solutions
