Cyber bullying is a form of harassment where children, preteens, or teens are tormented online through direct attacks or proxies. Victims may face threats, humiliation, and harassment via social media, messaging apps, and other technologies. While most states have laws against cyberstalking, there is no federal law, making it crucial to educate youth about the consequences and safe online practices. Strategies like stopping, blocking, and informing trusted adults can empower victims. Community initiatives, such as the Stop Cyberbullying pledge, further promote awareness and prevention.
