2. SOUTHERN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY • Since the moment of opening of department of psychology (1970) at philosophical faculty of Rostov State University, then at faculty of psychology (1993), at first within the framework of chair of social psychology and psychology of personality and then on the basis of chair of social psychology, the preparation of experts in the domain of social psychology has being conducted. By this time it was formed a scientific direction in the domain of social psychology presented in numerous works of members of faculty of psychology and chair of social psychology. • Since 1993 annual admission to postgraduate study on a speciality 19.00.05 “Social psychology” has being made. For this time 40 candidate theses on a speciality 19.00.05 “Social psychology” has been defended. • Every year at the department of social psychology 6-8 scientific theses are defended, 20-25 students prepare their graduation projects, 50-70 students make their term papers ( the 2nd -4th year). Since 2006 the magistracy on a speciality "Social Psychology" is opened.

SOUTHERN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY Labunskaya Vera Alexandrovna The head of the department Labounskaya Vera Alexandrovna –Doctor of psychological science, professor, a full member of International Academy of Informatization, of International Academy of Psychological Science, of Academy of Pedagogics and Social Science, Academy of Image Studies. Experience of pedagogical and research work is about 35 years. Research work of Vera AlexandrovnaLabounskaya is connected to social psychology of personality and devoted to studying problems of socio-psyhological aspects of been, expressive personality behavior, researches of socio-psychological factors of dialog.V.A. Labounskaya created the first laboratory of “Socio-psychological and gender researches of human expressive behaviour" in Russia. Over a period of several years V. A. Labounskaya has been giving a course of lectures: “Social psychology” and some specialized courses: “Psychology of communication”, “Psychology of expressive behavior”, “Socio-psychological foundation of the interaction between teachers and students”., “Psychology of deficient communication”, “Psychology of negotiations”. She guides post-graduate students’ work, does practical work with psychologists, leaders, political figures in the field of visual diagnostics and image making.

7. SOUTHERN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY Rumshina Lubov Ivanovna Doctor of psychological science, professor. Experience of pedagogical and research work is about 25 years. Scientific interests are linked to realization ofhumanistic approach in national psychology. She gives a course of lectures and specialized courses: “Social psychology”, “Psychology of communication”, “Humanistic psychology and psychotherapy”, “Psychology of manipulations”. She is the executive editor of “Russian psychological journal”, co-chairman of the section of “Psychology of mass communication” in Russian psychological society. She is the author of more than 75 scientific and scientific and methodical works, among them monographs, and study guides. Lubov Ivanovna Rumshina is the author of the programme of developing value-oriented approach to communication and the training of counteraction against manipulations.

8. SOUTHERN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY Vvedenskii Igor Vitalievitch Candidate of psychological science, assistant professor. Experience of pedagogical and research work is more than 35 years. The main scientific trend: Psychology of consumer behavior, methods of marketing and advertising researches. Scientific interests: management psychology, socio-psychological aspects of marketing researches, advertising psychology. The results are used in the field of practical marketing by different organizations and enterprises of Rostov-on-Don and other Russian cities. He gives lectures on the specialized course: «Qualitative and quantative methods of marketing researches».

9. SOUTHERN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY Breous Elena Dmitrievna Candidate of Psychological Science, assistant professor. Experience of pedagogical and research work is more than 25 years. Scientific interests: The bases of constructive behavior in conflict resolution. Socio-psychological features of the subject in the situations of the deficient communication. Diagnostics and resources of socio-psychological organization development. She gives lectures on the following courses: « Psychology of conflicts», « Psychological foundation of staff management», “Psychology of deficient communication”.

10. SOUTHERN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY VorontsovDmitriiVladimirovitch Candidate of psychological science, assistant professor. Experience of pedagogical and research work is about 10 years. Scientific interests: Gender researches in social psychology. He studies socio-psychological mechanisms of the gender personality construction, he carries out researches of the gender personality attitudes and processes of the interpersonal interaction and communication in different gender (male, female, of sexual minorities). In 1999 he defended the thesis of the Candidate of psychological Science devoted to socio-psychological interpretation of the processes of interpersonal communication of homosexual men. He carries out some applied gender researches in the field of special psychology (the content of human gender attitudes, having certain features of psychological development), advertising psychology (gender aspects of perception and interpretation of advertising images). He works as a permanent consultant (as a medical psychologist) Of South regional center of the Ministry of Health and Social development that works over prophylaxis and fighting against AIDS spreading and that organizes socio-psychological consultations about AIDS issues and preventive work using socio-psychological influence to prevent the risk of AIDS contamination. He conducts behaviour researches on the problem of AIDS in the groups with the increased risk of the contamination. He gives lectures on the following specialized courses: «Applied gender psychology», «Socio-psychological foundation of consulting», «The foundations of group psychotherapy»

11. SOUTHERN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY Shkourko Tatiana Alexeevna Candidate of Psychological science, assistant professor. Experience of pedagogical and research work is 14 years. Scientific interests: psychology of personality, psychology of personality relations, development of expressive personality Ego, social psychology of the dance, diagnostic methods and correction of personality. Since 1994 she has been working under theoretical bases, programmes, methodical principles work in dance movement training and studying its results and effects. The results of the scientific work were reflected in the author’s course: “The bases of the dance movement training”, that is more than 10 years read at the psychological faculty of SFU. Tatiana AlexeevnaShkourko is also interested into the problems of the control in interpersonal relations. In the frame of this subject she has fulfilled several researches, devoted to the connection between controlling tendencies of behavior and success\failure in pedagogical activity;the elaboration of socio-psychological portrait of the woman- professional psychologist as a subject of the helping profession; the role of controlling tendencies of behavior in top-managers’ and managers’ activity. She gives lectures on the following courses and specialized courses: «Social psychology», «Social psychology of personality», «The foundation of the dance- movement training».

12. SOUTHERN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY Serikov Guenadii Vitalievitch Candidate of psychological science, senior lecturer. Experience of pedagogical and research work is more than 5 years. Scientific interests: problems of interpretation, knowledge of internal substantial person’s sides using their external manifestations, problem of the expressive talent, psychodrama methods of group work, problems of interethnic understanding and tolerance. He gives lectures on specialized courses: Ethno psychology, Psychodrama. Practical activity: He conducts group trainings using Psychodrama techniques.
