Career - Accomplishments Presidential Medal of Freedom, Congressional Gold Medal, Federal Holiday established in 1986 Civil Rights - 1964 Quote – “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin , but by the content of their character.” Nobel Peace Prize – 1964 (to end racial segregation & discrimination through nonviolence)
