  6. In 2008: 3,000 Cooperative Extension faculty and staff had eXtension IDs. In 2011: More than 15,200hold eXtension IDs.

  17. Where adds value: • In tight budgetary times, eXtension is enhancing expertise for many states. • Extension educators are using eXtension to supplement their work every day. They are collaborating across state and regional boundaries. They are working differently. • Surfacing what is important-- search, context, curation, social • Research beyond the Land-Grant-- total university & sometimes industry • Active engagement/conversation with the public and each other • Learning (it's social!)
