  6. … Digitizer Board • WIN7 has special Touch Screen support. It has writing tool on the left side of the desktop that can be used to write in a website address, Notepad, WORD etc. Pen tablet is Wacom’s digitizer calibration program. Can be used to re-calibrate

  7. Digitizer Board (cont’d) • Pen tablet is Wacom’s digitizer calibration program. It can be used to re-calibrate the digitizer.

  8. Barcode Reader • This is the Barcode driver utility.

  9. Barcode Reader (cont’d) • Click on “EasySet5 6 3 0”. This will bring up the window below. Then press the “Barcode” switch on the top of the tablet. A Red scanner light should come up. Then choose “Connect”.

  10. Barcode Reader (cont’d) • Choose COM2，and Press “APPLY” to connect Barcode Scanner.

  11. Barcode Reader (cont’d) • After connection is established, choose “Terminal” to enable the barcode reading interface.

  12. Barcode Reader (cont’d) • You should now be able to scan a barcode and display the results below:

  13. RFID – Support High Frequency (13.56 MHz) • RFID can be tuned on/off on the top of the tablet. • After turning on the RFID, you should be able to scan an RFID card in any application.

  14. GOBI 2000 (optional 3.5G GSM module) • OneClick Internet is a GOBI 2000 connection utility. Click “CONNECT” to log-on to 3.5G network(requires 3G subscription from your provider.

  15. Function Keys • Left side LED indicates WIFI, BTand Battery 1&2 status. • Right side arrow keys control brightness and OSD direction. Round center button is the “Enter” key. • FN+ Arrow (Up/Down) = backlight control • FN+wifi = Screen Rotation counter clockwise. • FN+BT = Help menu • FN+SAS = Cntrl+Alt+Del key WIFIon/off BTon/off Ctrl+Alt+Del Function Key

  16. Camera • WINDOWS does not have a driver for the Webcam. You will need to install 3rd party software. (email: support@tangent.com)

  17. Camera(cont’d) • After installing the CyberlinkProgram, the webcam will open the window below. There is no need to do any further configuration.

  18. Other Peripherals – Fingerprint Reader • Fingerprint Utility: Once you start the “Digital persona” program, you can start to register and scan finger prints.

  19. Other Peripherals – Sound Recorder • Sound recording: See WINDOWS built-in Sound Recorder

  20. Other Peripherals – WiFi • WIFI – Uses Windows Connection Manager by default.

  21. Other Peripherals – Bluetooth • Bluetooth – enable via Functions keys. • Manage BT through your Windows Device Manager.
