The transition diary : role play • We learnt all about transition in our lecture with Hilary Fabian • We are going to use what we learnt to do some role play • The role play will be all about transition from nursery into school • The role play is, what we think, a good way to deal with the transition

  5. Role play 1 • I’m scared of being on my own. • I’m scared of being the smallest. • What if they don’t like me?

  6. Role play 2 • This week my new teacher came to visit me in nursery. They talked to me about what primary school is like.

  7. Role play 3 • My teacher came to my house today and spoke to my parents. I got to say what I liked and show my room and my favourite things. I enjoyed it very much!

  8. Role play 4 • Today was my first day, my parents came with me.We got to show photos and talk about what we like to do at home, tomorrow I have to stay on my own!

  9. Different ways of learning • We have seen a lots of different and interesting examples. • A test!
