  1. Group 5 Angel Briggs, Jaylin Fraizer, Isean Isedore and Kelly Lewis.

How are computers used in businesses? • Computers are used is certain different ways, such as : Data compilation, graph making, slide presentations, document preparation, keeping customer addresses, preparation of invoices and billing, inventory control, email and other correspondence, and storage of all of the above.

  3. Other ways computers are used in business. • Other familiar types of terminals include store checkout systems that deliver detailed printed receipts and use laser scanners to read the bar codes on packages, and automatic teller machines in banks.

  4. Major impact. • •The computers impacted our lives in many ways. You may notice business people using computers a lot, especially the laptop computers, portable computers that can be taken to your work area. • Business uses computers for keeping track of accounts, money. You may see people use things like pie-charts and graphs when they present information in business meetings. Most of those charts were made by computers. The business field uses the computers a lot for their companies and organizations. Businesses use them to make profits.

  5. Computers in business • Companies first began to work with computer systems at the beginning of the 1960s. These systems were installed at computer centres. The operating costs of such a computer centre were so high that the systems had to run day and night to be profitable. • As desktop computers became more common in the business world, they were used to manage spreadsheets, create memos, design magazine and newspaper layouts, and produce special effects for feature films.

  6. Business advantages • These devices were used to store financial data and other records, and to create software. • Every major company is equipped with a computer, or network that connects through different branches throughout the Business.

  7. How do computers effect business’? • •Computers are creative, efficient, work, flow, and ease communication. Computers are multi-faceted and are eternally evolving to be faster, stronger and better-equipped to accomplish infinite tasks. • •With the evolution of the Internet, businesses have transformed into globally accessible industries in which communication spans thousands of miles of ocean in seconds.

  8. Communication. • •Computers help with communication between other businesses and clients. • •Types of communication include email, web conferences, PDAs , and cell phones system are all used in business communication. • •Emails help send messages to other businesses or clients for updates, or to help keep contact with them. • •Video and web conferencing helps form business meetings for people in other places.

  9. PowerPoint and software. • •Making graphs and PowerPoint help get points across • •PowerPoint assist business people by helping them prove points or show how to produce more of a product or how to make better advertisement. • •There are also types of business software that can downloaded to a computer that can help business that are ran from home
