  2. VISION To organize departmental schemes to bring up sporting talents upto National and International level and also to create Sports Culture among masses to strengthening the society.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES • To organize Sports coaching camps in all the districts of state in various popular games. • To organize sports competitions in all the districts of the state to prepare the sports person for higher competitions. • To create sports infrastructural facilities in all the districts. • To honor National and International players.

MAIN PROPOSED WORKS FOR FINANCIAL YEAR 2011-12 • To implement Sports Schemes a total outlay of j 2482.91 lacks has been proposed under District sector, State sector, SCSP & TSP. • To develop sports infrastructure in urban areas, it is aimed to create playing facilities in each district of the state. • To train boys and girls in different disciplines, proposals have been made. • It is proposed to provide number of tournaments to boys and girls in each district for competitive experience and also to prepare them for higher competitions. • It is proposed to honor National and International level players financially. • It is also proposed to provide Sports Kit to the players participating in various National Championships.
