  3. WHAT IS IT? • Vokia website that allows you to create: • animated and talking digital characters • representation of a person • often referred to as a speaking avatar • used to add a more ’human’ or interactive element to the online classroom, website or blog Voki: Speaking Avatars

  10. You can choose from a range of faces. Once you have chosen your character, you can choose clothing, glasses, and jewellery. Voki: Speaking Avatars You can choose the background and the colour of your player to match the colour scheme of your program or website. You can modify skin, eye and hair colours, and change the width of the different features.

  12. There are three ways to record a message. Voki: Speaking Avatars Each recording can be 60 seconds long.

  13. You cannot download and save your Voki but you can share it in a number of ways. When you have finished your recording, click on Publish. Voki: Speaking Avatars

Once the Voki has saved you will be taken to a page where you can choose how to share your Voki. • Post it on a blog, a Facebook page or other social network sites. • Bookmark it on a number of sites. • Copy the embed code and paste it into the html of a website or learning platform page.
