  10. { myths and Change can begin only when there is a crisis that persuades faculty, staff, and administrators to accept the need for change. Higher salaries are the only incentives that can motivate faculty, staff, and administrators to pursue change. You must be careful not to spend taxpayer dollars, especially when creating change. We don’t have to (or it’s best not to) involve others. We can figure problems out by ourselves. You can buy your way to growth; thus, you can buy your way to greatness. traditions You should stay in your own backyard.

Dramatic change must be wrenching, extreme, painful, and top-down. Change should take the form of improving to meet a current known standard. traditions
