There is a stream outside and trees that could supply them with wood for burning and making tools. Best of all, there is plenty of food; animals to hunt and masses of berries and nuts to pick. 2. First, you have hot fire handy for heating up food. Second, you can freshen the air and help drive out sickness from the cave by throwing a handful or two of pine needles and fan the smoke into the cave. 3. There are many objects inside the cave that are similar to ones in my home like: lamps, air freshener, heat, beds, floor coverings, blankets, and shelves.
