  4. 國外合作伙伴 - 沙烏地阿拉伯 King Abdul Aziz City For Science and Technology (KACST) • KACST是沙烏地阿拉伯國家由總理管轄的獨立科學機構和國家實驗室，其職能包括科學和技術政策制定，數據收集，提供外部研究經費，並從事專利服務等。 KACST目前已超過2500名員工。 研究方向 • Building Research Capacity Mechanisms • Achieving Research Excellence • Building Knowledge Transfer and Value Capture • Provide an Enabling Environment for Research and Innovation 合作關係 • 本會與工研院透過經濟部協助，積極尋求與沙國進行更緊密的合作並爭取計畫案。

  5. 國外合作伙伴 - 科威特 Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) • 成立於1968年，為中東地區歷史最悠久的研究單位, 亦為科威特最高研究機構 • 掌管國家科技之政策及技術發展方向，並為政府智庫 研究方向 • Environment & Urban Development • Food Resources & Greenery • Petroleum Research & Studies Center • Techno Economics • Water Resources • 資通訊發展 • 綠能產業 • 環境相關研究 合作關係 • 國王直接委託KISR進行相關規劃，其中相關規劃方針即由以一本會之規劃案成果為藍本 • 與各相關部會之專案啟動在即 • KISR有意將該院之研究成果及技術經驗商業化，樂意與本會進行更積極的合作
