Purpose • The purpose of the State Provincial Steering Committee (SPSC) VER dashboard is to support both electricity providers and regulators in the cost effective and reliable deployment of VERs by providing a centralized repository for information on existing and emerging integration practices (e.g., forecasting, flexible resources, curtailment, EIM); evaluating alternatives; and highlighting best practices via reports, analysis, and webinars. • The development of the dashboard is being guided by a committee comprised of industry leaders and SPSC members. The guidance committee website, which includes information on completed work, work-in-process, and potential future work, is available via http://www.westgov.org/ver/index.htm

  3. Status • The Dashboard concept is still under development, including choosing data to share, graphs, maps, etc.
