Animal Abuse. By Katie Olson. Why would anyone hurt an animal?. Pros. They may have anger issues. They had a rough childhood and take it out on their animals. They were cruelly abused and they want to get back at the person who abused them my abusing that person’s pet. Cons.

  2. Why would anyone hurt an animal?

  3. Pros • They may have anger issues. • They had a rough childhood and take it out on their animals. • They were cruelly abused and they want to get back at the person who abused them my abusing that person’s pet.

  4. Cons • The animal could possibly die. • If someone found out, the animal would go to the pound and most likely be youthinized. • It would emotionally scar the animal for life. • The person who was the abuser would have to live with themselves for the rest of their life.

  5. Cons Cont. • The animal would lose a possible chance for a loving home. • Animals have feelings too and the person who abuses them hurts the animal’s feelings. • Animals don’t have self defense so they can’t protect themselves.
