Program Overview • The Yellow Ribbon Program has provided information, services, referral and proactive outreach to Soldiers, spouses, employers, and youth throughout the entire Mobilization; Pre-Alert, Alert/Pre-Deployment, Deployment, Post Deployment and Reconstitution (Reintegration). • A flexible Family support system to meet the Soldier and Family readiness needs of the Expeditionary Army and geographically dispersed Families. • Yellow Ribbon events have been mentioned in every major news entity • The Army National Guard is leading the charge in technological innovations in YR (YR Zone and YR Web tool)

TRICARE/Medical Benefit Information Family Counseling Legal Counseling Financial Counseling Community Relations School Support Child Cares Services Informational meetings and briefings Preparations for Reintegration Employment opportunities Veterans Affairs Information Soldier and Family Benefits • Focus on the Family • Marriage Enrichment before the Deployment to help better understand the anxieties associated with their upcoming separation. • Employer Support Guard Reserve Support • Warrior Transition Units Information • Traumatic Brain Injuries Information and Support • Child Behavioral Counselors to help the children of our Soldiers better understand and better deal with their parent’s deployment.

Program Summary ARNG Yellow Ribbon is a State level program supported by the Soldier/Family Support and Services Division (SFSSD) to deliver information and services throughout the entire deployment cycle including but is not limited too; • State Family Program Directors (SFPDs) • Family Assistant Centers (FACs) • Family Readiness Groups (FRGs) • Family Readiness Support Assistants (FRSAs) • Rear Detachments • Transition Assistant Advisors (TAA) • State Youth Coordinators • Youth Mobilization Specialists • Employer Support Guard Reserve (ESGR) • Veterans Service Organizations (VSO) • State and Local governmental agencies • Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
